sentosa revisit
Finally, after how many donkey years since i last went to Sentosa, which was around when i was 5-6 yr old i think, i revisited Sentosa again. Not knowing much about that island and after hearing much exciting stories about it, i was quite excited. Dressed in office attire, i went there alone.
Took bus to douby gawt mrt and transfer line to harbourfront. Along the way, saw a famiiiar sight in the mrt station. Aluminium round tables and foldable chairs.. "tmd pto agian" took another alternative route.. while thinking if harbourfront got roadshow also.. true enough, saw the props and ppl arming wif surveys.. luckily i already knew where they stationed.. alternate route again.
By right, consumers need to pay $3 to go into Sentosa.. but now, i know of a way to get in FREE LOL. went to the bustop and waited for the company mini bus to pick me up. and TADA, went throught the season pass entrance.. cool. no verification is needed :> but ma fan la.. rather pay the 3 bux..
Along the way towards my destination, was quite dissapointed with the sourroundings i saw.. constructions, barricades, jungles which reminded me of tekong?! _|_ tmd. it was nonsense. after so many years, its not as developed as i thought and heard. Aniway destination was Amara Sanctuary.. a new resort in Sentosa juz opened in may 1st week.. isnt Amara the hotel which i usually had my lunch back in pto days.
Anyway interview was ok, though they had some1 else in mind, better than me though not sure issit an degree holder, but has a hotel management background. But its ok.. the working environment.. ALOT of non chinese + no young chinese gal.. wat a waste of my time.. and the office.. is small. only around 6 workstations and a small server room.. i figured that it must be very slack.. but tats not the point. but im still ok with it cos i needed the $ EASILY. i needed $ cos my comp is dying soon. -.- fated to work meh. AND, was eventhough its 9-6, sometimes nida clock 10 working hrs with NO OT PAY. i have 2 frens, IT and Finance both having OT pay and standard office hrs. SMI LAN. somemore no dress down in fri.. but meals were included.. though i think the cost of food inside their island should be... their IT dept onli nid 1 executive and 1 officer. confirm boring. whole day juz inside the farking room. i rather inside my own room and sleep. i needed jobs like in prudential? maybe not till that extent.. for things to happen.. arbo stagnant life for life meh.
after the interview, while waiting for bus to go back harbourfront, i thought i might as well look around the island. So, tour around with the Sentosa bus, since its FREE, juz sit lo. there got 3 lines, red yellow and blue. only took yellow and blue, and.. the tour wasnt very nice. jungles and constructions and no ppl. they only place crowded think is the 4D Matrix shit.. and maybe the beach.. but not in total view... but the bus to harboufront rox.. comfortable coach.. super tired then.. thinking about sleeping at home tml juz pure rox. :)
oh ya... on the way back, on clearer view, those Roadshows were not PTO -.- 1 is POSB the other is Prudential.. which onli got like ..5 ppl? damn sad man c them do.. -____-
